Membership Process & Guidelines
Process

This process was approved by the Board of Directors in March and went into effect
on April 1.

The process is intended to make the application procedures uniform and fair for every proposed member. It gives the applicant opportunity to assess his/her interest in joining our group with the knowledge that the classification to which the individual would be assigned is available.

Wallet-sized cards with this information were distributed at a morning meeting. If you wish to have another card, please ask at the club desk. Application forms are also available at the club desk or from the office.

1) The individual submits a completed application form to the DMAM office.

2) Upon confirmation by the Membership Chair, the proposer invites the applicant to 3 meetings.

3) After the membership committee approves the application, the applicant's name is posted on the DMAM website and electronic newsletter for consideration by the entire membership.

4) The applicant is required to attend an orientation meeting and submit an initiation fee before induction into DMAM.
